Specialty stationery, invitation and gift boutique Paper Trousseau contacted us to establish their web presence. Having visited their store, we knew we needed to capture the unique aesthetic qualities of the store in the style of the website. We used the crown molding from their display shelves and their overall color palette to draw the connection between their physical store and virtual home.
Functionally we added in some really nice features, especially in the individual product pages. Each product section features a sampling of products offered by Paper Trousseau in a large and dynamic viewer built in Flash. The viewer is expandable to hold any number of images Paper Trousseau desire and they are displayed in a single large view and with a scrolling area of thumbnails. Along with this viewer, the product pages feature listings of products and services, online purchasing sites, and external links to product collections...all managed via our custom content management system. All of these together provide Paper Trousseau with a high level of customization in showcasing their products.
